Elekta and Elekta steel: versatile character, high functionality

Elekta and Elekta Steel offer top level functions and communications. This calling module – with two versions soft-touch and vandal-proof – controls two locks (for managing, for example a pedestrian entrance and a garage door) and is provided with integrated access control. It works with proximity key or code and has open door detection function.

Elekta is also provided with a duress warning system for opening the door with a code and sending an alarm signal to the concierge at the same time. The colour camera and light is standard. The alphanumeric keypad is simple and sophisticated, allowing for instance to leave messages if the called person is away.

The calling module has an extra function for easier use by handicapped users: the call is sent to the concierge if several buttons are pressed at the same time. No calls are lost in this way.

The panel can be installed either flush-mounted or surface mounted.

A display created to communicate

The peculiarity of this panel is however all enclosed in the 3.5” TFT colour display, which is the real, evolved heart of the product. All operations are prompted on screen for assisted operation. Furthermore, an image can be associated to each user: in this way, a map will appear when a name is called showing how to reach the required apartment. This innovative help is highly appreciated in large-sized compounds.

The camera motion detector turns the display on as soon as someone approaches: this saves electricity and means that the system is always ready to welcome residents and visitors. Arrows can be used to easily and quickly scroll the name list.
